What Is Control Center Integration?

On iOS 18 and later, you can add Receiptix buttons directly to your iPhone's Control Center. This gives you one-tap access to all three expense entry methods — snap a receipt, dictate by voice, or type it manually — without navigating through the app first.

Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen, and your Receiptix controls are right there alongside your other system toggles.

How to Set It Up

Adding Receiptix controls to your Control Center takes about 30 seconds:

Open Settings

Go to the iOS Settings app on your iPhone.

Control Center

Tap Control Center in the settings list.

Add Receiptix

Find Receiptix in the list of available controls and tap the + button.

Use It

Swipe down from the top-right of your screen to access your new controls.

Available Quick Actions

Three controls are available, each opening the app to a different entry method:

Snap Receipt

Opens the camera to scan a receipt immediately. No navigating through the app.

Voice Log

Starts voice mode so you can dictate an expense hands-free.

Quick Log

Opens the manual entry form to type in an expense directly.

Tips and Details

• Control Center integration is context-aware. It shares your current project info, currency, and recent expenses with the controls.
• Requires iOS 18 or later. If you're on an earlier version, this option won't appear in your Control Center settings.
• You can access Control Center from any screen on your iPhone by swiping down from the top-right corner.
• This is an iOS-only feature. Android does not offer a comparable Control Center API.
