Welcome to ReceiptiX. By using this app, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your access to and use of the ReceiptiX mobile application ("the App"), which is owned and operated by Reciptix LLP ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

ReceiptiX is a personal finance tool that helps users track and organize their expenses. The app incorporates various third-party services, including:

• Google Document AI for receipt processing (image-to-text).
• OpenAI API for categorizing receipt items.
• RevenueCat for managing in-app purchases and analytics.
• Firebase services for storage, authentication, and analytics.
• Branch.io for deep linking and attribution analytics. For details, see Branch.io’s Privacy Policy.

ReceiptiX does not offer financial advice or manage, store, or transfer funds. It is solely a tool to help users organize and track their expenses.

ReceiptiX is developed and maintained by Reciptix LLP.

For iOS users making in-app purchases: By using our app and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests. This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with the purchased content. The purpose of sharing this data is to help Apple make an informed decision regarding refund requests. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration and maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Use the App only for personal, lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• Refrain from sharing offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content through the App.

4. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in activities such as:

• Using the App for unlawful purposes or soliciting others to do so.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, replicate, or exploit the App or its services.
• Disrupting the App's operations, including introducing malicious code or attempting unauthorized access.
• Violating applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms.

5. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App or services at any time, with or without notice. Pricing for paid services may change; such changes will be reflected in the app store.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App for violating these Terms or engaging in harmful behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

7. Limitation of Liability

Reciptix LLP is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your inability to use the App.
• Unauthorized access to or misuse of your data.
• Interruptions, errors, or bugs in the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, excluding its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved under UK jurisdiction.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting updates in the App or on our website with a "Last Updated" date. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms and your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
